Cherai is an excellent tourist destination in Kerala, India. It is a typical Kerala village with paddy fields and coconut groves in the vicinity. Picturesque surroundings in Cherai attracts the tourist more. Paddy fields, fish farms, historic monuments are added attractions. Cherai is well known for the mouth lingering fresh sea food and country wine Toddy (fermented coconut beer). Cherai also has some ancient historical monuments in its close proximity. Abrief 5-km drive will take you to the Pallipuram Fort, one of the first forts to be built by the Europeans in Kerala. Still further is Kottayil Kovilakam,here a Jewish synagogue, a church, a temple and a mosque co-exist in peaceful communal harmony within the same compound.
Athirapally Waterfalls are one of the best waterfalls in India and one of the most famous tourist destinations in Kerala. These are magnificent waterfalls on Chalakudy River located at the entrance to Sholayar hill range in Thrissur district. At a distance of 70 kms from Kochi & 160 Kms from Coimbatore, this waterfall drops from a height of 80 feet through several parallel streams offering a great scenic beauty. In monsoon season, the water gets strength and all the streams join together and appear like Niagara Falls. One can reach top of the falls with about 5 minutes walk from nearest road. It offers spectacular views of the Sholayar hills and a unique view of the waterfalls from this spot. About 10-15 minutes trek down from top of the falls will take you to bottom of the falls where the greatest beauty of the falls can be experienced. Swimming is possible in the stream at bottom of the falls.

Arrive at Cochin Airport and transfer to Cherai,on arrival check Hotel. Evening enjoy at Cherai Beach. Overnight stay in Cherai.

Day 2

Cherai – Athirapally (90 KMS – 02 Hours drive)
|
|
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Athirapally, on arrival check into Resort. Afternoon visit Athirapally WaterFalls and Vazhachal Water Falls. Overnight stay in Athirapally.

Day 3

Athirapally – Munnar (225 KMS – 04 ½ Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Resort and drive to Munnar, en-route visit Chiyyapara Water Falls, on arrival check into Resort.Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4

Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar – visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo Point, Shooting Point and Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Munnar – Thekkady (110 KMS – 03 Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Resort and drive to Thekkady (Periyar), on arrival check into Resort. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Thekkady (Periyar). Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 6

Thekkady – Alleppey (165 KMS – 04 Hours drive)

After breakfast check out from Resort and drive to Alleppey, on arrival check into Houseboat (check in time : 12.30 PM – A/C will be operating from 9.00 PM to 6.00 AM). Full day enjoy the backwater cruise through Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Day 7

Alleppey – Cochin (100 KMS – 03 Hours drive)

|
After breakfast check out from Houseboat (check out time : 9.30 AM) and drive to Cochin Airport for onward journey.

If booking cancelled prior to
- 15 days – 10% of the package cost
- 10 days - 25% of the package cost
- 07 days - 50% of the package cost
- Less than 05 days – 100 % of the package cost.
